Installation of PTS/daa:

If you want upgrade from a version prior to 1.71.30: Please have a look
onto the other documentation files in this directory or refer to the
PTS users mailing list. 

WARNING:
	If you're unsure about anything, ask the mailing list before
	you demolish your installation. ;)


To switch from PTS 1.71.30 to PTS/daa 1.71.30/PHP3:

o make sure you've PHP3 installed and up and running.
o set the maintenance flag ($maint) in header.phtml. No user can log in now.
o backup your old PTS directory and your database.
o extract the PTS/daa package onto a new PTS-directory.
o edit the important files (such as header.php3) to match your
  requirements.
o test wether your installation works now.
o put the backups on a safe place.
o remove the old pts directory
o rename (mv) the new PTS directory to the old one.
o finished.
